To learn the art of dancing is fun—and it is simple too. In a way it is like having to learn a new language—a dialect in which emotions and moods are communicated in movement; a language of grace, rhythm and harmony. Historical records show that people danced at least from the beginning of recorded history. The dance arose in a variety of forms in ancient Egypt, Rome and Greece.

Dancing allows articulation to a deep-rooted emotion in man so profoundly as to

The Bible speaks of dancing in various places—one of the frequently quoted verses is that of the 150th Psalm: "Praise ye the Lord in all your songs and dances."

Ballroom dancing kids - there is an innate urge in all of us to manifest rhythm. Primitive mankind satisfied this compulsion by beating drums and dancing around a campfire until they fell from complete exhaustion. We, of the civilized world, give expression to this same instinctive urge in a more cultured way. We dance in a conventional way to rhythmic music and comply with certain set patterns. We observe the rules of conduct that society has set for us.

Dancing is wholesome and a built-in outlet for the emotions and ballroom dancing kids. It develops poise and grace, balance and timing. Men take delight in their capability to lead their partners with poise and assurance. Girls love the ability to follow their partners expertly, smoothly and correctly. The ability to dance develops personality, and above all—it is fun.
