To learn the art of dancing is fun—and it is simple too. Primitive mankind satisfied this compulsion by beating drums and dancing around a campfire until they fell from complete exhaustion. We, of the civilized world, give expression to this same instinctive urge in a more cultured way. We dance in a conventional way to rhythmic music and comply with certain set patterns. We observe the rules of conduct that society has set for us.

Dancing is wholesome and a built-in outlet for the emotions and ballroom dancing kids. It develops poise and grace, balance and timing. Men take delight in their capability to lead their partners with poise and assurance. Girls love the ability to follow their partners expertly, smoothly and correctly. The ability to dance develops personality, and above all—it is fun.
